Arsenal was Lucky to Draw at Burnley, Post Match Analyses.

Arsenal was lucky not to conceive 3 to 4 goals at Turf Moor. Arsenal showed a below average performance at Burnley. None of the Arsenal player was in good touch at their respective positions except Leno. Defense was not a trouble for Burnley whenever they attached Arsenal defense allowed them to score but it's Burnley's which defended well as Arsenal defense. There was little connection between defense and midfield most of the time they struggled to play from behind because none of the players were intelligent enough to position at vitol gapes. Failed failed to connect the play.
Midfield looked without a strategy at connecting with forward line and aimless with and without the ball. Nobody was aggressive enough to drive the forward and show some creativity with purpose. Xhaka and Gaunduzi were senseless except Xhaka's long passes that created some chances for Auba. Forward line shoes more presence at mid then the midfielders.
Missed missed missed chances by Auba and company on attack. Arsenal should have scored goals because they had got enough decent chances in both halfs of the game.
Arteta should had made a strategy change even in the second half but we did not see any real tactical change. Aubameyang should have operated centrally with Martinelli and Pepe on wings. Laca need to be dropped when this combination doesn't work loudly enough to secure points.
After all the honeymoon period is over for Arteta and fans are expecting results from the new manager. Tiwistng the tails and toes of the combination is not going to work we need a real strategy to challenge the point table. Arsenal's new signings are at they are not gonna go to score goals for us. We need addresses the real issues, coming out of draw draw situation.

Premier League: Arsenal Preferred Line up Vs Burnlye, Will Marinelli start ahead of Lacazette.

In today’s fixture, Arsenal is going to play against Burnley at Turf Moor after a successful winter transfer window. Arsenal signed a left central defender Pablo Mari and right full back Cedric Soares on loan from Flamengo and Southampton respectively. Arteta and Arsenal seem happy at reinforcement in their shaky defense line up.
Since Arteta’s appointment Arsenal have shown character and aggression in their game. In last 6 matches, Arsenal is unbeaten winning 3 and drawing 3. Arsenal’s draw at Chelsea and 2:0 win against Manchester United show the improvement and motivation of its squad.
After winter transfer window signings of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares and returning of Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney from injury and Luiz from suspension have made the piking order difficult for Arteta. Apart from this Maitland Niels improvement and impact as a right full back cannot be ignored.
Who could be in playing XI for today’s fixture? Arteta has to make some tough decision in team selection because of return of club captain Aubameyang from suspension and impressive form of Gabriel Martinelli.

Goal Post:

No doubt, Arsenal’s No 1. Leno will start at goal post.

Defense:

Now, Arteta has more option at defense. It looks as past practice Arteta will not start with the new signings of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares. Luiz and Sokratis will start in the heart of defense. Bellerin is an automatic choice at right full back position. At left fullback position Kieran Tierney is also available but Arteta will not rush into his selection, he would go with the impressive Saka.

Midfield:

Resurgence of Lucas Torreira under Arteta has made him a starter in the midfield for Arsenal. His performance in his recent past matches has made him invincible in the midfield. Alongside Torreira, Granit Xhaka will start in the mid. He has been prolific under Arteta, his defensive attributes and passing range will be pivot in the match. Arteta has belief on Mesut Ozil, his creativity and his importance in the team. Ozil’s tackles, recoveries and work rate with and without ball is improved.
Forward Line:

Arteta has to make tough decisions in the forward line. Aubameyang is back from suspension and definitely he will lead the attack line up. And Pepe will start on its favorite right wing despite being unable to make contribution in scoring goals. Arteta has to make a choice among Lacazette and Matinelli. Martinelli has been impressive on left wing scoring goals and making good links with Saka. So, Aubameyang will start at center and Martinelli and Pepe will be posted at left and right wing respectively.

Latest Football Transfer News; Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Manchester United has finalized Bruno Fernandes deal worth of €55 million from Sporting Lisbon a long waited incoming for fans and Woodward. Currently, Manchester United is lacking quality, creativity and depth in the midfield because of injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott MacTominay. Manchester United need enforcements in the midfield, Bruno Fernandes’ stats show that he can score goals and make assists which is much needed to secure a position in top four for United.
Manchester United is going to play against Wolves in their next fixture Bruno is expected to feature in the coming fixture.
Arsenal is struggling in the defense despite signing Luiz in the summer transfer window and injury blow to Calum Chambers and Mustafi. Pablo Mari is the latest singings of Arsenal to address the defense issues at least for the second half of the season. And Arsenal is also hopeful to land Portugal International Cedric Soares who’s current contract end at Southampton at end of the season. Cedric Soares will be highly valued addition to Arsenal defense. He is an experienced right full back and he can also play at left. Cedric is Euro Cup winner with Portugal in 2016 and he also has been crucial member of Southampton’s defense.
Jurgen Klopp’s star studded Liverpool is not that much active in the transfer market. They have just signed Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg for £25 million. There are also rumors that Liverpool may land the midfielder Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen. He has got attention from likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Frank Lampard’s Chelsea is looking to land a center forward in the winter transfer window because of Tammy Abraham’s injury and lack of confidence on Michy Batshuayi who has scored 6 goals and 2 assists in 23 matches which is below level.
Chelsea is currently linked with the likes of Edinson Cavani, Timo Werner, Dries Mertens, and Moussa Dembele. It seems Chelsea would not be able land any of the above mentioned players because the respective clubs want to hold of their players for the season. Cavani could be available for £25 million plus if Chelsea plots a last moment bid to land PSG star.

Arsenal Transfer Update; Mari or Matviyenko

Arsenal are Set to Sign a Central Defender in January Transfer Window.

Injuries in defense line have pushed Arsenal in January transfer window. Arteta and Edu are weighing up their options. Recently, Arsenal have been linked with number of established defenders; Juventus' Demiral, Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig. But most recent, Pablo Mari and Mykola Matviyenko are linked with Arsenal who are not famous enough among fans.
Among these two options Pablo Mari and Mykola Matviyenko, it is highly anticipated that Arsenal would prefer Mari over Matviyenko because Mari has seen EPL from a close range as former Manchester City player. Matviyenko will take time to adjust with premier league conditions. And secondly, Mari is optimal option when we look at available budgets at Arsenal. At the end arsenal will be looking for season loan option either its Mari or Matviyenko.
